Story Brother's, Inc. Recognized by the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence Program

New Britain, Connecticut, September 22, 2005 - Story Brother's, Inc. has earned the Blue Seal of
Excellence Recognition as prescribed by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), a non-profit organization
dedicated to improving the quality of vehicle report and service by means of voluntary testing and certification for automotive repair
and service professionals.
To be eligible for this recognition, a company must have 75% of its automotive professionals ASE certified. In addition, there must be
a certified technician in each area of service provided. To remain in the program, a business must renew each year and confirm their
professionals' certification status.
Story Brother's, Inc. is a family-owned Tech-Net Professional Auto Service Center that has been operating
in New Britain for 55 years. Over the years the business has grown to include a multi-bay repair facility for both mechanical and body
work, in addition to selling gasoline and offering twenty-four hour towing. Story Brother's, Inc. is also
an official emission test station for Connecticut. Story Brother's, Inc. cares about its community. They
have participated in the CARQUEST Law Enforcement Torch Run and for the second year donated a car to New Britain High School as a prize
for their no-alcohol after-graduation party.

Kris Story Awarded the 2003 Emil Stanley Merit Award

The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) and the Automotive Service Association (ASA) have jointly announced that Kris Story is the
recipient of this year's Emil Stanley Merit Award. The award honors Emil Stanley, publisher of Automotive Body Repair News (ABRN) until
his death in 1989. Stanley was committed to strengthening the professionalism of the collision repair industry through education.
Story is the vice president of operations for Story Bros., Inc., in New Britain, Conn. Her grandfather
started the business more than 50 years ago and she has been involved for the past nine years. She is currently working on the
requirements to earn the Institute's Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation and ASE's service writer certification in the
spring.
Story will receive complimentary registration, air transportation and hotel accommodations to attend NACE 2003, Dec. 4-7, in Orlando.
"I am very honored to have been chosen as the recipient of this year's Emil Stanley Merit Award. I know how important education is, not
only for me, but also for the improvement of my shop. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn not only from the classes, but from my
peers," said Story. The Emil Stanley award is made possible by a grant from ASA to EXCEL, AMI's resource development program.
